Yes, this headline already has the entire content of the article in itself. It’s about men in high heels.
But much more: why do men wear high heels and how is actually the feeling in high heels?
Let’s start from the beginning
.
I myself wear these high kicks irregularly for over a decade. Although in the vast majority of cases covered and only for me, but there are just things that fascinate me about it. You’re probably going to laugh very loudly now, because I don’t currently have more than ten pairs of high heels. And no, I don’t buy “just” a few pairs of high heels a year.
However, there were times in my life when I hid it from my partners and thus regularly gave my dresses, skirts, shoes and more, out of shame in old clothes containers. Surely there are somewhere out there now top dressed people, yet this behavior made admittedly very little sense.
However, what I always refused was the tight feeling – even the pain after wearing. A saleswoman once confirmed to me that this was exactly the reason why she wears heels.
Now they’re a standard office outfit. I love the feeling when I wear them. Sublime, sexy and chic all at the same time. As well as the swoop my silhouette makes when I strut to the coffee machine.
What I appreciate much more, however, is the sheer endless combination possibilities! Since they come in red as well as blue, gold as well as silver, iridescent and matte. Thin, equally thick. High as well as low. Wide as well as narrow.
Matching them I usually choose a matching dress or skirt with blouse. However, it must always be tights! Come what may.
And why do you wear high heels?
Well, strictly speaking because I like the feeling of wearing them. And because you “just don’t” do it. And because I feel attractive in high heels with matching outfit.
It makes me work more focused. More focused. I stay on task and don’t get distracted. A huge advantage, if you ask me.
Besides, there’s a reason they say clothes make the man. And at the moment, I couldn’t imagine standing in the home office in a full outfit consisting of a shirt, tie, suit and black or brown leather shoes. I find skirts, blouses and high heels much more appealing, artistic and stylish.
Whether you find men in high heels attractive or not is less up for debate. Or do you also debate whether the person across from you goes for a walk in winter with a jacket or without? Whether he or she likes those red pants or not? Ask yourself if you mind if your financial advisor wears white sneakers. Or neon sports shoes. Should it be a white shirt? Or will a colored polo shirt do? Exactly… in essence, it doesn’t matter relatively, unless the person has to perform a certain function. But a man in heels doesn’t have to do that when he meets you in the streetcar. Just as little when he sits across from you in the bar. Nevertheless, some people think they have to judge.
But you must not mind that at all!
You may not have the courage to walk outside in heels. Your village or your city may be too small to anonymously stumble around in high heels. But you must be aware of one thing. You will rarely be mobbed. People may look at you or giggle. But you should chalk that up to “attention”.
Because you have that without a doubt!
